Dae is the founder of Mixed Movement Arts and the creator of RESET: Maps & Movement Practice to Rewire Your Nervous System. With over a decade of teaching experience, he helps individuals build nervous system-informed movement practices that cultivate strength, flexibility, and freedom—both physically and internally.
His trauma-informed, inclusive approach draws from somatics, qigong, mobility, dance therapy, and functional neurology. One of the most surprising discoveries our participants share? How little hunger becomes an issue during the fast. Through our science-backed preparation process, you'll learn to distinguish true hunger from habit, boredom, or emotional triggers. What emerges is a gentle, natural relationship with hunger—one free from the grip of cravings and food addiction.
Will I lose Muscle during a water fast to heal gut and metabolic health?
Short-term fasting actually boosts muscle-building hormones. During a 5-day fast, human growth hormone (HGH) can increase by 300-500%, while testosterone and other anabolic hormones optimize. Your body intelligently preserves lean muscle while clearing out damaged cellular material.
